THE WORK IS INTENDED TO BE DISRUPTIVE
The work with me is intended to be disruptive to your usual pattern of performance and create new ways of being and working. The process of becoming a client is designed for absolute commitment to support all this to happen.
You’ve done or are aware of leadership development, you get that you need to change, you get the theory of how to be a better leader (and if you don’t we can work on that too) and now you want to make it a day to day reality – how are you going to do that? That’s what we’ll find out.
IT’S A CURATED EXPERIENCE
I’m going to work with whatever will get you being and behaving like the leader you want to be. We’ll look and see what will inspire and support the actions you need to be taking. In addition to the core coaching, we’ll use experiences, I might introduce you to other people, new ideas, different ways of seeing the world. Client experiences include attending fringe leadership conferences, consulting with my contacts of other leaders in appropriate sectors and writings and teachings in areas we are focusing on. I am looking to expand your awareness where right for you.
The guiding principle of how I work is that whatever we do in our sessions has to make a difference back in the office, with your people, in your life. I don’t care if it’s a philosophy that’s been around for a hundred years or ten minutes. I’ll use whatever approaches get results. I’ve worked on empathy in a butchers shop, attended music concerts to dislodge thinking to deep work in the National Gallery, using art to inspire and uncover blocks to critical leadership.
This is all in recognition that change occurs in a multiple of ways, not just in a coaching conversation – and it’s not the same for everyone.
We’ll start there and create the experience you need to have and the work you need to do to nail the results you want.
